Debt Free Date
Snowball
Enter what you owe. See when you’re free. Watch the date move closer.
Debt Free Date turns your debts into a plan with a date on it — then moves that date closer every time you put a little extra toward it. No account, no sign-up, and nothing to connect to your bank.
What it does
Log what you actually pay
This isn’t just a calculator. Log each payment as you make it and watch the balance drop for real. Every payment is split into interest and principal, so you can see exactly how much went to the lender and how much went to getting free. Your history builds month by month, with a streak that rewards showing up.
Snowball or avalanche — compared with your numbers
Snowball pays your smallest balance first, so you clear whole debts early and build momentum. Avalanche targets your highest interest rate first, so you pay less overall. See both side by side, with real numbers from your own debts, and choose the one you’ll actually stick with.
Built on a real payoff engine
Every dollar is accounted for. When a debt is cleared mid-month, the leftover payment rolls straight to the next one, exactly as it would in real life — so the date you see is the date you get.
Plan against reality
Progress compares this month’s plan with what you’ve actually logged, so the date on screen reflects the payments you really made rather than the ones you intended.

Common questions
What’s the difference between the debt snowball and the avalanche method?
Snowball pays the smallest balance first, so you clear whole debts early and feel momentum. Avalanche targets the highest interest rate first, so you pay less overall. Avalanche is usually cheaper on paper; snowball is usually easier to stick with. Debt Free Date shows both with your own numbers so you can see what the choice actually costs you in months and in interest.
Does it connect to my bank?
No. You enter your debts yourself. There is no bank login, no third-party aggregator and no server holding your balances.
How is my debt-free date calculated?
It runs a full amortization using the payments you enter. When a debt clears mid-month, the leftover rolls to the next debt the same way it would in real life.
Can I see how much of a payment went to interest?
Yes. Every logged payment is split into interest and principal.
Is it free?
Free for up to two debts with the snowball strategy. Pro unlocks once — unlimited debts, the avalanche comparison, reminders and the countdown card. No subscription.
